Robustly potted of compressed ovoid form gently curving into the mouth rim, the surface painted with four historical Chinese figures philosopher Fu Sheng, empress Wu Zhao (Wu Zetian), Wu Zetians prime minister Di Lianggong (Di Renjie), and the founding emperor Eastern Wu in the Three Kingdoms period Sun Lang, each paired with an inscribed paragraph of texts, the base bearing a Jia Qing six-character mark.
