Post Modernist teak, maple, oak and rosewood stepback cabinet, attributed to Michael Graves. Vertical oblong upper bookshelf mounted to triangular support above a two door rectangular cabinet on base frame. The upper bookshelf with inset glass panel, the lower section with drop front bar inset with flared rosewood panel, the face on chains, concealing bar with recessed shelves to sides. The cabinet doors conceal three drawers to left, and two to right side.
Approximate dimensions: 96 1/2 H. x 37 5/8 W. x 21 1/4 D..
Condition: Minor veneer lift, far right edge. Minor surface wear and scratches, except for bar door rosewood panel, scratched, freckled, interior of bar with water stains top panel of the cabinet, just under bar door, water stains. scratches, wear, to interior cabinet drawers. Fading to door pulls.
Though unsigned, an envelope that was in a cabinet, mailed from Arkitektura in New York City to client in 1991, was in the cabinet since installation.
