The rounded bowl of the vessel is supported on a tall splayed pedestal foot, and is fitted with a domed cover adorned with a globular knob. The bowl and cover are both molded all over with bands of archaistic design. The foot of the vessel is inscribed with a six-character Guangxu mark.
