Qing Dynasty.
Comprising: the first is a finely carved recumbent figure of a dog, with its head turned sharply backwards. It is depicted with rounded eyes, the front paws held together, and its hind legs tucked underneath its body. The stone is smoothly polished to an even white tone. Together with a double gourd form carved white jade smoking pipe mouthpiece attached to a cord with blue turquoise bead decoration.
Largest: length 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm).
