Caldas de Reina Palissy-style puzzle jug with snake bodies as handles and snake heads as spout. Reticulated neck, over body embellished with applied frogs, spider, moths, painted in shades of green, grey, blue, ocher, and brown.
Approximate dimensions: 10 high x 6 1/4 inches wide..
Condition: Shallow foot rim chips to underside. Minor wear and scratching. Minor crazing. Chip to glaze on side, not reglazed overpainted in an amateur manner.
