Arched forms in white painted frames, each featuring a central crowned androgynous figure.
Approximate dimensions: 106 high x 35 1/2 inches wide..
Condition: One with loss to the top of the frame. The other separated into three panels. Some cracks, no apparent loss. Likely repairs to leading.
By consignor repute: These windows of Sts. Catherine and Margaret were originally installed in the Cathedral of Saint Francis de Sales in Oakland, California which was built in 1893. The buildiing was damaged in the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, after which the decision was made to take these panels out. They were sold privately to consignors family in 1994, after which they were removed, cleaned, inspected and repaired between 1994 and 1995 by Peter DeMartini. The windows were then installed in owners family home where they remained until removal in 2022.
