Two vases with stoutly potted bodies in square sections and supporting shoulders rising to a flared neck. The panels of the body are painted with female maidens amidst a garden and a man with a young attendant tending overgrown foliage, while the top neck panels are decorated with nature landscapes and scenes of people engaging in conversation. Each vase has a pair of lion head handles.
Approximate height: 16 1/2 inches (41.9 cm).
