In the 1970s and 80s his work began to receive critical acclaim and support. His work reflects his commitment to ecology and preservation. He has produced a number of commissioned works, for the World Wildlife Fund, the Government of Canada, the Royal Canadian Mint, among others. His work can be found in many public and private collections, such as The Burlington Art Centre, The Gilcrease Museum, OK, The Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, The Denver Art Museum, The National Museum of Wildlife Art, among others.
