Dated 1893.
Stepped rectangular form, with bands of foliate and scrolling motifs, the top center surface with fanciful canines rampant, holding aloft a lettered shield with lower case h to interior, the enamel bands alternating with bands of flowering urns issuing vines, and scrolls. The interior unlined.
Touch marks to interior base, toward back with two export marks in roundels, Kuzmichev (alternately identified as Kuymrev). AK in rectangle Assay marks in a rounded rectangle 84 horse AA 1893 for Anatoly Apollonovich Artsybashev, Moskow 1893. MADE FOR TIFFANY AND CO.

Provenance: Purchased from David Orgell, Beverly Hills, CA in the 1970s.
Condition: Very good condition, minor surface wear and scratches.
