Provenance: Piano comes to auction directly from the couple who helped to sponsor the writing of Ansel Adams America by Dave Brubeck and Chris Brubeck, as written on this instrument in 2008-2009. Ansel Adams America is a 22 minute symphonic piece, that premiered April 4, 2009, and was nominated for a Grammy award. Ansel Adams America incorporates the projection of 102 images by famed American photographer Ansel Adams with music.
Condition: Inspection by specialized mechanic revealed the drive motor is not working, so the lid must be opened manually. Drive motor can be replaced through Schimmel. Minor scratches and surface wear.
