Late Qing Dynasty, 1860 -1880.
A scalloped edge platter painted with a landscape waterway with figure on a low bridge, and pine tree on rocky island together with a deep octagonal dish, with pavilion waterway scene.
Approximate dimensions for the platter: H 2 x W 16 1/2 x D 13 1/2 (5 x 41.9 x 34.2 cm) the dish H 2 3/4 x W 14 7/8 x D 11 1/2 (6.9 x 37.7 x 29.2 cm).
Provenance: The Estate of Evert B. Person
Condition: Very good overall condition, with loss to orange luster edge minor black dots to surface, light rubbing and surface wear, scratches. Ask the Asian Art Department for more information.
