Shaped round, painted in polychrome enamels to the center with a named scene GEFANGENNAHME DER GATTIN KNIG/ MANFREDS UND IHRER KINDER the finely-painted Historismus scene by Wallner inset into the cobalt blue ground, elaborately-embellished with rouletted and raised paste gold and pearls.
Underglaze blue beehive mark enamelled to reverse, and incised script N. 12. An old dealer or collector sticker 72, there, as well.
Approximate dimensions: 19 3/8 inches diameter..
Condition: Very light scratches to enamels. The gilding is remarkably crisp.
