Well potted, the bowl is painted around the exterior with five-clawed dragons in copper red glaze , each pursuing the flaming pearl amidst ruyi scrolls above a band of crashing ocean waves on the foot rim.
The recessed base incised a four-characters Shende Tang Zhi makers mark in underglaze copper-red.
Diameter 6 3/4 inches (17.1 cm).
