Condition: Minor buckeling towards the left and right edgesoverall, great condition to sight.
Notes: This lot includes a four piece documentation, including certificate of authenticity, invoice, label, and previous appraisal from 1981 frame shows minor wear, approximate dimensions - framed: 32-3/4 x 40-1/2 inches. Bio:The artist studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Austria. In 1952 he has his first exhibit in Vienna. In 1953 he sees his first exhibit in Paris. In 1957 he publishes his The Grammer of Seeing in Paris. By 1968,his work is exhibited in Brazil, Japan and other countries. In 1968 he travels to the Bay Area of California to prepare for his exhibition at The University of CA, Berkeley. The 70s brings a series of traveling exhibits in twenty-seven countries and forty-three museums. In 1978 he designs his Peace Flag for the Holy Land, which depicts a Green Arab Crescent Moon and a Blue Star of David, and publishes his Peace Manifesto. By this time he also becomes invested in sustainable architecture design. He is also commissioned to design postage stamps and posters for various environmental organizations.
